NBC has released a trailer for its Heroes webisode series: Going Postal. The series will launch online with an episode on July 14 and new episodes will be released on subsequent Mondays. A former guest star will be returning to Heroes this season!
According to Michael Ausiello at TVGuide, Jessalyn Gilsig will be reprising her role on Heroes for five episodes this season. Gilsig portrayed Claire’s biological mother briefly in three episodes during Season One.
NBC recently announced the official premiere dates of its fall shows. Heroes will be returning with a 3-hour premiere on Monday, September 22 at 8PM EST, which is one week later than the previously announced date. The Heroes launch will still consist of a a 1-hour clip show and a 2-hour premiere.
NBC has announced a series of Heroes webisodes that will debut on NBC.com in mid-July. The premiere episode is titled “Manhunt.” Not much is known about the web series except that it will introduce a new villain and it will lead up to the third season premiere.
TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that Bruce Boxleitner is the latest to join the Heroes cast. Boxleitner played Captain John Sheridan in four seasons of Babylon 5 and he was Scarecrow in Scarecrow and Mrs. King.
Those worried that Heroes may be adding too many new characters shouldn’t fear. Ausiello’s source maintains that altough there will be new characters, the show will focus on “the core characters from the pilot.”
